Booth 8B45 at CCE 2026: What CQDJ Composites Brought to Shanghai

Chongqing Dujiang Composites—three generations of family ownership, founded as a fiberglass workshop in 1978, formally established in 2002, and today running a 50,000-square-meter plant in Beibei, Chongqing—was set up at booth 8B45 in Hall 8.2 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center for the 29th China Composites Expo, September 1 through 3. We brought what we always bring: the full raw-materials stack for FRP and composite manufacturing, plus the OEM/ODM capability to finish it into parts. For a buyer trying to consolidate vendors, this is the short version of what was on the table.

Fiberglass reinforcement—the part that makes our pricing honest.

We drew over 1,000 tons of fiberglass roving through our plant last month alone. That volume is the reason our base-materials pricing stays competitive. At booth 8B45, we showed the full reinforcement line. Direct roving for weaving, pultrusion, and filament winding. Chopped strands for BMC and thermoplastic feeding. Chopped strand mat for hand layup and closed mold. Woven roving and combo mat for marine and tank work. Fiberglass mesh for EIFS and panel reinforcement. Surface veil for chemical and corrosion layers. The Chinese FRP and composites market has been squeezed on price for the last eighteen months. Volume is what keeps you in the room. We are in the room.

Resin systems—the part most buyers need—explained.

Unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl ester resin, epoxy resin, and gel coat resin. Four families. Most buyers we talked to asked the same question: “Can you supply the resin to match the roving, with batch-level consistency?” That is a fair question. Too many Chinese suppliers sell roving and resin separately and shrug when the wetting behavior changes batch to batch. We do not. Our resin is formulated against the sizing chemistry of our own roving. If a buyer orders a chopped strand mat quote from us, the matching resin for that mat is on the same truck, with the same batch family, and our technical team signs off on the layup before it ships. That is the one-stop model working the way it is supposed to.

Carbon fiber and aramid—the part that surprises people.

We get asked a lot whether CQDJ is “only fiberglass.” No. We have been carrying carbon fiber fabric, carbon fiber sheet, carbon fiber tube, and aramid/Kevlar fabric since the early 2000s. At CCE 2026, we brought our hybrid fabric line—carbon-Kevlar weaves, glass-carbon hybrids, aramid-glass surface layers—for buyers running high-end sporting goods, drone frames, and pressure-vessel programs. The hybrid-fabric business is not our biggest line. It is our fastest-growing. Three buyers at the booth came in asking for hybrid layup design help on UAV structural components. Our technical team walked them through the ply stack on the spot. That is the OEM/ODM side of the business, and it is the side that pulls a 50-year roving house into a different conversation than just price-per-kg.

FRP finished products—where the OEM capability shows up.

FRP rod, FRP tube, FRP rebar, FRP grating, pultruded profiles, fiberglass sheet, FRP pipe. We sell these as raw materials to FRP fabricators, and we also run OEM/ODM finishing for buyers who want a complete part. The OEM side matters more every year. A construction buyer in the Middle East does not want a roll of mesh. They want a cut-and-bent rebar kit with drawings, labeled batches, and a mill certificate. Our Beibei plant has the pultrusion lines, the grating fabrication, and the CNC cutting to ship that. At CCE 2026, we signed three new OEM arrangements on the floor—two rebar kits for European distributors and one grating program for a Southeast Asian industrial flooring customer. Those were not in our pipeline before the show.

Auxiliaries and consumables—the boring half that wins RFQs.

Mold release wax and agent. Curing agents, MEKP, and BPO. Cobalt naphthenate accelerators. Pigments. Titanium dioxide. Putty. The things that do not make a press release but show up on every RFQ. A buyer comparing two Chinese suppliers usually picks the one who can ship auxiliaries alongside reinforcement and resin. We can. That is half the reason the OEM business keeps growing.

What a buyer should actually do after reading this.

Send an RFQ. List your required reinforcement, resin, and finished form. Tell us the application—tank, pipe, grating, panel, rebar, profile, sporting goods, or pultrusion. Tell us the annual volume and the geographic destination. We will respond with a price, a lead time, a sizing data sheet, and a resin match. If you want OEM/ODM, attach a drawing or a sample. Our technical team has thirty-something years of layup experience and will tell you on the first call whether your part is buildable in our process. If it is not, we will say so. That is more useful than a brochure.

Who should not write to us?

If your annual buy is below twenty tons of reinforcement, a regional trader will serve you faster. If your spec demands aerospace-grade prepreg certification, you need a different supplier—call Toray, Hexcel, or one of the specialty houses. CQDJ is a basic-materials and OEM house. We win on volume, on the resin-roving match, and on the OEM finishing. That is the lane. We stay in it.
