PACKING AND STORAGE

NOTE

Our gel coat resin is isophthalic acid type gel coat resin, isophthalic acid type gel coat resin is a gel coat resin based on isophthalic acid type polyester, and its cured products have good mechanical properties, Toughness, heat resistance and corrosion resistance properties. Compared with phthalic acid gel coat resin, its purity is higher. The ester bond on the molecular chain is affected by the steric hindrance effect of isophthalic acid, and has the characteristics of good resistance to water and other corrosive media.

INSTRUCTION

•3303 gel coat resin does not contain wax and accelerator, but contains thixotropic additives.
• The mold should be treated in a standard manner before use to meet the construction requirements of the gel coat.
• Spraying process: choose a suitable spray gun for gel coat; the air source should be dry, clean, and free of oil pollution; the air source pressure should be suitable and stable to meet the construction requirements of the gel coat.
•Color paste recommendation: special active color paste for gel coat, the compatibility and hiding power of 3-5% o color paste should be confirmed by field test.
• Recommended curing system: MEKP, a special curing agent for gel coat, 1.5~2.5%; a special accelerator for gel coat, 0.5~2%. It is confirmed by field test during application.
• Recommended dosage of gel coat: It is recommended to brush at least twice, the total wet film thickness is not less than 0.6mm, and the dosage is 700~1000g/m2 o The gel coat is too thin and easy to wrinkle or expose the bottom, and too thick to sag and crack. Or trachoma, uneven thickness, easy to wrinkle or local discoloration, etc.
• When the gel coat gel does not stick to your hands, the next step (brushing the gel coat or applying the reinforcement layer) is carried out. Premature retreat is prone to wrinkles, fiber exposure, local discoloration or delamination, self-release, cracks, cracks and other problems.
